Date: 3/17/2005 , Location: Process Resource Center Who: Jiro, Tzara, Ellie, Bob, Sam, Brian, Edie, Zan, Fred Agenga items : • committees • radical inclusivity • theme camp project • art report. • last meeting • BC 4/1 Compression • requirement minimum. • feelings last playa feeling Brian: no process to data w/ feeling cheerleading worked. kitchen: Sam: vinegar is great to use for cleaning. probably must have chlorine for restaurant. Ellie: we can talk about what went wrong last year -- or we can decide what we want '05 to be like. work done after the playa was a problem. we need to plan for, and handle emergencies on the playa we are all different but need to find away to work together. Bashful: i think it's important to work together, that conflicts are dealt w/ and get addressed. Brian wanted to change the mission statement because the word "fun" was missing. we agreed we could have a list of concepts to extend or compliment or extend our mission statement. jiro suggested we call the list our "high dreams" high dreams = goals and expectations. the first HD is to have fun. we talked about the idea of converting the bus to bio-fuel. ART Bob demonstrated the design to the Bus. (see prior meeting notes for design) expectation: bus driver must be sober. Edie is trained driver. Tzara: there are rules driving on the playa, we’ll probably need spotters to walk in front. we want lights, Xmas lights, and EL Wire to decorate/light the bus idea -----> reality ??!? • Ellie : fluff. • Jerry Arthur : welding. • Zan, Aline : painting. bob: roof rack is most important. Clouds would be nice but maybe optional. would be awesome if bus was ready by Portland regional burn in June. STRUCTURES : Bob demonstrated the concept for camp tent structure. (see prior meeting notes for design) parachute is olive drab color and $400 (with a 100' diameter) and offers 75' space. the 64' parachute = $300 and provides 40 space. we decided the larger parachute would be better, and we can grow into it. the 100' parachute is 135 lbs. adding more weight to haul down.
