Meeting Notes 7/19/04

Attendees: Edie, Angel-Aaron, Sam, Tzara, Ellie, boB, Gaylin, Arthur, Brian, 
Elana, Maralena, Bob

Next Meeting: Tuesday, July 27th, 6:45 at boB's: 3706 SE Lincoln (corner of 
37th and Lincoln).

Social gathering: After the work party on Sunday the 25th - we will go to Bob 
and Sam's and jump in the pool.

Work Party: Sunday, July 25th 12:00 at Ellie's Dad's, 10315 SW McDonald - 
take 99W into Tigard, left on Hall, right on McDonald - house is on the right. 
(Ellie - is this specific enough? Can you fill in more details if theses 
directions aren't clear enough?)

Yard Sale: Thursday, July 29th. Bring stuff to donate (if you are selling 
something on consignment please consider donating at least 30% to ST!) to Angel's 
by Wednesday night. We need volunteers for Wed. night, Thurs. afternoon, 
Thurs. evening, and for the weekend if there is stuff left over to sell.

H&H Party: Need volunteers, especially someone with an OLCC permit to 
bartend. Need white fluffy batting, colored lights (red, blue).

Funding/Finance: Capitol/Expense form has been made by Ellie: If you need to 
spend money or have spent money, you need to fill out the form. Tzara will 
probably post it on the website.
Finance: We have about $1600 in the bank. Still waiting for 13 people to pay, 
money from Love Tribe, income from the party.

Structures: Work party Sunday, will build dome and start on arch. Car ports 
working out well, 2 built, still need to build the third.

Kitchen: Need ideas for recipes. Angel will research some water options.

Chores: There is some confusion as to what jobs are needed to be covered. If 
there are jobs to be done on the playa, let Sam know the details. Examples: 
getting ice, removing trash, waste water management, kitchen stuff.

Note: if you are heading up a committee and you need help, materials, etc. - 
send it out to the email list.

Gifts: Will be having 4 or 5 different gifts, including snuggly foam 
necklaces, cookies, clay necklaces, lavendar eye pillows, and fuzzy armbands. We need 
a source of free or very cheap lavendar and flax seed - any ideas?

Art: Will have fuzzy-covered mailbox. Giant foam BurningMan-mattress on top 
of the bus. Discussed logo, flag. Fly flag from highest point of camp. 
Determined that Sam is not the highest point. When thinking ugly, point at Angel. 
Carpet makes it nicer when you trip and fall.
