Meeting notes  July 13

Attendees: Bob, Sam, Jyro, Arthur, Elena, Maralena, Brian, Kristi, Ellie, 
Tzara, Tyke, Shelly, Edie, Aaron, Genia, Jerry, Marcia, Glen

Next Meeting Elena and Maralena's Mon. 19th
 
Yardsale: will take consignment  planned for last Thur. And weekend following 
in July helpers: Elena, Brian(tables), Edie(rack), Arthur, Ellie, Jerry(?). 
Jyro, Aaron( his house will host)

Work party this Sun at Aaron's for structures

Heaven and Hell party everyone is expected to work, liquor license $50 
already bought
    *need to watch out for drunk people, stop them from drinking more, 
possibly take keys to prevent drunk driving for liability reasons
    don't allow too many people outside waiting
    need white fluffy stuff

Funds: most people are paid up 

Head Count:  about 20 intending to camp , about 6 unconfirmed, cap at 50 but 
aim for 40, maybe ask for more space

Structures: 80 20ft. pvc poles this will provide some extra for pvc on rebar 
for lights
    Will see if lasers work after building entry way, definitely lights beh
ind letters
    Ellie's Dad has work shop can use on Saturdays

Kitchen:U-shaped structure, getting free carpet,can clean with Aaron's carpet 
cleaner
    $10-12 per person per day for food, fillout food app. And give to Ellie, 
nned help shopping, equipment list wil go out on email please fill in what you 
can provide
    water:Brian and "Bob have filters more discussion later
    separate committee for restaurant: legal or not?, pesto from Brian or 
not?, need lots of volunteers for this project on playa

Bus:new bus possibility(old one gone), Marcia and Glen and Jerry looking , 
Bob loaning $

Transport: if no bus 2-3 trailers, wait to see about bus and how much stuff 
we have to bring

Outreach:  4-5 apps pending interviewing shared by outreach committee

Power:  $400 for new generator,  Brian wants to buy one after Burningman, 
Glen will ask parents for loan of generator, look for used generators 1800- 3000 
watts, put on equipment list

Finances:  will have formal request form for $ for projects, check other 
sources for cheaper alternatives

Chores for playa:  send Sam your estimate for #of people you need for your 
projects

Maralena loaning Sam  parachute for play on playa- Thank you!!

Who,what, when- Marcia needs to know descriptions by Mon. 19th-descriptive, 
succinct and interesting

Domes open all the time, events will also happen in domes

Art: Glen's idea-gift cookies  

Arthur will ask for funds and help with committees
